What is the closest Airport to the Radiance Retreat?

Our home for the week is approx. a 30 minute drive from Koh Samui International Airport.

Question 3

Do I need to be good at yoga to join

Accepted Answer

Not at all.  Come as you are.  You just need to be open and ready to give it a go.  
Whether you've never stepped on a mat or you practice daily, everyone is welcome.

Will I be required to participate in all activities?

Accepted Answer

All activities are voluntary, however we encourage guests to partake in the whole week's program.  
We will always be available to speak to throughout the week should you have any questions or concerns on any of the activities.

Can you tell me more about the juice fast?

Accepted Answer

Prior to the retreat, you’ll receive a recommended two-week pre-cleanse plan to help gently prepare your body for the upcoming 3-day juice fast. 
This pre-cleanse supports the detox process and helps you ease into the retreat feeling lighter and more energised.
You’ll also be asked to complete a health questionnaire, which will be reviewed by our highly experienced Naturopath ahead of your one-on-one consultation upon arrival.
Our goal is to ensure that your juice fast is safely tailored, if needed, to best support your individual needs and wellbeing.
During the 3-day juice fast program, you’ll be fully supported and guided by our Naturopath, who will be available throughout to answer any questions and ensure you feel cared for every step of the way.

I'm nervous coming alone?

You'd be surprised how many of our guests come by themselves.  
Whilst they come solo they leave feeling seen, heard, safe and supported, and anything but alone.

Will I get time to rest and just 'be'?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely!  Rest isn't a luxury at our retreat, it's a priority.  
This isn't  one of those do-it-all itineraries. There's plenty of unstructured time to nap, walk, journal, read, not talk, do nothing at all (guilt-free) or explore the local area. 
Or perhaps indulge in some more massages or spa treatments, time by the pool or visit the local markets. 
We have purposely kept space for free time with no agenda for remembering what it feels like to breathe without rushing (you are allowed to rest).

What food and meals will be provided?

Let’s just say when it comes to food, Donna doesn’t mess around.
Meals on retreat are lovingly prepared, nourishing, organic, and wherever possible, sourced straight from the farm to your plate. 
Expect dishes made with care, intention, and plenty of flavour.
Each day’s meals may vary slightly depending on our schedule, so please refer to the retreat inclusions for what’s provided.
There will also be a few free meals, giving you the chance to either relax at your accommodation or head out and discover the vibrant local flavours of Samui.

I am concerned as I have a food allergy?

That's OK, we will make sure your dietary allergy is catered.

Is it spiritual?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want it to.  We won't make you do anything that doesn't feel aligned.  
We have found by experience that something shifts during retreat week.  Even the most skeptical minds leave a little softer, a little more in tune and connected.

What's the age range of your retreat guests?

Accepted Answer

Most of our guests tend to between 30 and 60 - but age is honestly the least interesting thing about anyone who joins us.
We welcome all ages, and somehow, the right  mix of people always find their way here.  
The group forms exactly as it's meant to - supportive, kind, open-hearted, fun.

What do I need to bring and pack for the retreat?

8 weeks before the retreat, you’ll receive an email invitation to join our private Pre-Retreat Support Group.
Inside this group, you’ll find everything you need to feel fully prepared - what to pack (and what to leave behind), helpful travel tips, and guidance to support you as the countdown begins.
It’s also a beautiful space to start connecting with your facilitators and fellow retreat guests before we begin our time together.

Is Travel Insurance required?

Yes - all participants are required to have a current Comprehensive Travel Insurance Policy that covers this retreat at the time of the event.

What’s included in the retreat price?

Accepted Answer

A lot - all of it thoughtfully chosen.
Your week-long immersion includes stunning accommodation, daily classes, workshops, ceremonies and group activities.
Most meals are covered, with some free time to also explore local delicacies and flavours on your own.

What's not included in the retreat price?

Flights are not included.
Travel Insurance is not included.
Airport Transfers may vary per retreat - please refer to the list of inclusions for this retreat.
Early check-in or late check-out is not included - but may be arranged subject to availability at an additional fee / night.
Personal expenses are not included.

What are your payment options?

We offer a number of payment options.
You can pay in full either by Credit Card directly through the booking link.
Or you can pay a deposit of AUD$500 and then pay in installments by scheduled dates as detailed on the website.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes - we want this to feel accessible for everyone.
For this week long retreat a AUD$500 deposit secures your place, with payments then due as per the Terms & Conditions here on this page - via the booking link with a Debit or Credit Card.
Or if you require a tailored set payment plan we will work with you to create something that fits - weekly,  monthly or what feels manageable for you.  Please reach out to us directly either through the contacts page or further down here on this page through the Radiance Retreat Thailand Questions forms.
Payments can be either by EFT or Credit Card.
If you are joining one of our partner retreats, the payment structure may vary slight.

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

As we commit to our venue and service providers well in advance, all deposits and payments are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise required under applicable Consumer Protection legislation. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds in the event of a cancellation once your booking has been confirmed.
Once you have confirmed your booking, you will be provided with the full Retreat Terms & Conditions for your review and acceptance, prior to making any payment of the deposit or retreat fees.
